Accreditation Update

Earlier this month, our teachers began taking Child Development Associate (CDA) classes as a part of our NAEYC Accreditation process. The training program requires a big commitment from our teachers but provides a rewarding experience as a whole.  It offers our teachers the opportunity to:

  • Take a look at their own work in relation to national standards
  • Get feedback and support from people who have experience working with children
  • Obtain knowledge about early childhood education and development
  • Improve their skills in ways that are satisfying for themselves and beneficial for children
  • Earn a professional credential that is recognized by early childhood educators nationwide

We provided the opportunity for many of our teachers to complete this program during school hours on our campus. The first group of teachers that are attending the first session are— Ms. Linda (NI), Ms. Terri (MI), Ms. Opal (MII), Ms. Monica (TI) and Ms. Sandra (PII).
