Carmen Smith
Carmen began working at CHES in July 2012. She has a son, daughter, son-n-law, 3 brothers, 1 sister, and numerous nieces and nephews. Her educational background includes security and law enforcement knowledge along with substance abuse screenings. Her favorite thing about working with children is the joy they bring to her heart. Their imaginations are endless. Her favorite thing about CHES is the group of teachers who are loving, caring, welcoming, and eager to teach new lessons.
Alma Belmares
Alma began working at CHES in January 2001. She has a son. Her educational background includes her CDA certification. Her favorite thing about working with children is their ability to make her laugh and learn from them daily.
Melissa Sutton
Melissa began working at CHES in November 2018. She was born in Houston, TX. She is currently single and does not have any kids. She does have two cats. On her days off she enjoys sleeping, going to the movies, and visiting places. Her favorite children’s book is No David!. She would like to visit Tokyo, Japan and her favorite food is shrimp alfredo.
Maria Castro
Maria began working at CHES in August 2008. She has one daughter, two sons, a grandson, and a dog. Her favorite thing about working with children is that she can provide them with food that they enjoy and that will give them the nutrients that they need. Her favorite thing about CHES is that she can work with the kids and she enjoys coming to work every day.
Esther Calderon
Esther began working at CHES in February of 2017. She has four sons which the middle two are twins and a two year old German Shepherd. Her favorite thing about working with children is the smile on their face. A fun environment is what she likes most about CHES.
