It’s Thursday!! And we have a few reminders about our upcoming “Splash Day” tomorrow.

In VBS News. Our word of the day was hospitality. Which we shared as being welcoming and kind to others.
Our country of focus was Switzerland. We tasted Swiss cheese and fruit and played a game popular to their country, “Don’t look back the fox walks around,” our version would be duck, duck, goose.
We also talked about the “peace packs” that the children are helping to create. There will be a memo explaining what the peace pack is on your child’s cubbie.

Today the children enjoyed exploring the safari in Arts Alive. We each got to have a turn holding a baby lion – roar! A big thank you to everyone who was able to join us.

On our last day of VBS each child will help make a “peace pack” for refugees that have come to Houston.
