Happy Friday!
Today we celebrated Earth Day! We enjoyed the beautiful weather on this lovely Friday. Our friends also enjoyed eating “dirt cups” (chocolate pudding, oreo crumble, and a gummy worm). Yummy!
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Hello Friends and Families;
This week we learned about caring for our Earth and ourselves.
In caring for our bodies, it’s important that we eat good food. YUM,YUM.
We take this caring aspect very seriously. We have friends that help set the table
for our lunch times. Caring for our bodies by eating delicious meals that feed our
nutritional needs, help teach us how our bodies function. Good food, and good physical activity prepares us for the work/play day ahead. How, you ask? It creates ENERGY!
We use our energy in many ways. Our favorite, of course, is running and playing outside with friends. Another one is messy creations. These are the best! We had such fun creating our unique art expressions of the earth. This was done with easily disposable paper plates, paint, and re-usable plastic bags. It was interesting because we didn’t actually touch the paint. We pressed, rubbed and squeezed the bag to move the paint around to our specifications. The children were amazed and curious that their hands didn’t get messy with paint! Some of them were even a little anxious to press the paint, but they were in awe when they saw that their little hands were still clean!
Stay Tuned, you never know what we’re doing NEXT!
Have a great evening!

This morning we read the book The Earth Book and continued to discuss ways to help our Earth. The children enjoyed working with a new lesson in our science area. We classified picture cards of activities that makes our Earth happy or sad.
The children had a great time practicing their putting skills during Jumpbunch class. We saw some future golfers in our mist!
