Finger Painting Dinos!

May 31, 2017 by Movement One

Good Afternoon!

This summer we are digging into dinosaurs! We are kicking off our adventure by creating some of our own. Our friends were busy finger painting this morning and they enjoyed themselves very much. Make sure to check out their dinos in our classroom on our cabinet doors. ?

Have a nice day!

Mini Picassos

May 25, 2017 by Movement One

Good Afternoon!

Today in Movement I we taped some butcher paper to our tables, passed out some jumbo crayons, and let our kids have at it! Providing some time to draw and color is important because not only does it allow our children to explore their creativity but it also allows them to strengthen their fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. Some of our friends were very comfortable holding the crayons and  knew exactly what to do while some of our friends were curious and took their time warming up to color. None the less everyone enjoyed themselves.

Here’s a small peek –
