Today we read Thanks for Giving by Abby Klein and had a class discussion on how we can help those who are less fortunate at Thanksgiving time. We talked about having our own class food drive and collecting food for those in need.

So we will be hosting a food drive until November 18th.

Today the Soccer shots group had fun with Coach Francisco and Coach Diaj.

Little tid bits we gave were that the north star used to help explorers long before we had GPS or maps, the east is where the sun rises, the south is where birds flock for the winter and the west is where the sun sets.

We are learned this song to help reinforce the learning of directions. Tomorrow the class will be introduced to the compass rose.
