What Toddler One Is All About

August 11, 2017 by Toddler One

Good afternoon!

We hope you all had a wonderful week. We sure did!

We started the week off by making “Magic Dinosaur Fossils”! The children were amazed when they colored their paper with water colors only to see magic happening before their eyes!

“Whoa… It’s a dinosaur!”

Come find your child’s dino fossil on our door!

The toddlers also enjoy circle time. We get to sing, dance, read a story, and get a few lessons done.

Here we are doing our Big & Little puzzle.

When we completed the lesson, Sally volunteered to put it away.

Thank you, Sally!

Art is all around us! Arts Alive was nothing short of fun yesterday. We learned more about colors and shapes. We even got to play with rainbows!

And of course, our weekly splash day! Nothing better to cool us off!

Thank you and we hope you all have an amazing weekend!

Fun Friday

July 28, 2017 by Toddler One

Good afternoon, dear parents!

It has been a busy, yet fun and productive week. We had our weekly show-n-tell yesterday as well as Arts Alive!

Yesterday we went on an Amusement Park Adventure… to Disneyland! Upon our arrival we were greeted by Mickey and Minnie Mouse with hugs and kisses! It was beautiful seeing the kid’s faces light up. Disneyland was complete with a marching band, a train, and fireworks (bubbles) !

And to close the week off, we had our summer favorite… Splash Day!

Thank you for tuning in. We wish you a great weekend!

(Reminder: Please provide your child with a towel on Splash Days. Thank you!)

A New Home

July 20, 2017 by Toddler One

Good afternoon, dear parents!

Yesterday was a very special day!

Our classroom pet guinea pig, Flower, was moved into her new home! It is much bigger and it has more space for her to play or just roam around. The kids were very excited for the ceremony! Ms. Teri was our special guest and was invited to cut the ribbon!

The kids were very happy for Flower’s new home. She seems very ecstatic about it too!

Thank you Ms. Teri for providing the cage!

Thursdays Are For Show-N-Tell

July 13, 2017 by Toddler One

Good afternoon!

We dedicate every Thursday to Show-N-Tell, and today was nothing short of fun and adventure! We encourage the children to pass around and share their cool toys with their friends.

“We like bringing our show-n-tell outside!”

Thank you and have a great day!

Wholesome Week

July 7, 2017 by Toddler One

Good afternoon!

We have had such an amazing week in Toddler I! We decorated our classroom with more dinosaurs and the children are loving it! We hung them on the ceiling with swirly ribbons and the kids are having fun learning some of the interesting yet cool dinosaur names, like ankylosauros or diplodocus.

The little munchkins know how to stay busy and get some work done with blocks, peg boards and puzzles. Here we have Lachlan, Sally and Wyatt demonstrating.

The sensory bin for scooping and pouring keeps them calm, all while having fun with friends too.

We have also introduced a new activity to burn off some energy… Musical chairs! It is quickly becoming a fun afternoon routine!

Wow! How do you top that? With Splash Day, of course! An all-time favorite summer activity for everyone. What a perfect way to close the week!

Thank you and have an excellent weekend!
