This morning we talked about Martin Luther King Jr. and his important words. After our discussion each child had the chance to answer what Peace means to them.

This afternoon the children enjoyed fun songs like, Willoughby Wallaby and I want Tacos. Ask your child to sing these fun and silly songs to you.

Tomorrow is Soccer Shots. Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for this class.

This morning during class time the children were introduced to telling time by the half hour. Reading the hour hand can be a little tricky since its between two numbers when telling time by the half hour. We will continue to practice telling time by the hour and half hour throughout the year.

Monday is MLK day. Please inform us if your child will miss school.

Music class is Monday. This class begins at 2:30.

Happy early birthday Carter. Thank you for sharing a yummy treat with us.

This morning in chapel during chapel special birthday prayers were said for all the children who have a birthday this month.

The Kindergarten children also enjoyed writing a 5 senses poem. Please take a look at the Kindergarten bulletin board to read it.

Tomorrow is Jumpbunch and Arts Alive. Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for these classes.

Soccer Shots began today. The children enjoyed their class with the coaches, Coach Jesus and Coach Ariel. The word of the day is Respect. Ask your child to tell you what this word means.

Tomorrow is Chapel. This class begins at 10:30. All parents of children who will be celebrating a birthday this month are invited to attend for a special birthday prayer. Please let me know if you will be attending.

Happy New Year! We are all excited to see everyone back this week along with some new children transitioning. Please help us welcome, Gabriel, Thomas, Xavier and Ava into the Kindergarten class.

Is your child signed up for the extra -curricular class? Music started today, and tomorrow, soccer begins. During music class Farmer Earl visited us and sang a song while we played the rhythm eggs to his singing.
