This morning we had a lesson from the Science shelf. The lesson about the four seasons. Children matched picture cards of things like coats, snowflakes, falling leaves, a sand castle, etc. under the appropriate season we experience those things in.

Tomorrow is Jump Bunch class. Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for this class.

Do you know your child’s schedule for the Holidays? If so, please inform us of any days your child will be out.

This morning the children enjoyed practicing their fine motor control and eye/hand coordination with the lesson, Feed the Turkey. The children use tweezers to pick up small pom-poms, then tweeze them into the small opening of the jar.

During Soccer Shots the children learned a new move called, Step and Fake. This move is to trick their opponent into thinking they are going in a certain direction.

Tomorrow is chapel. Chapel begins at 10:30.

Do you know your Holiday plans? If so, please inform us of any days your child will miss school during the months of November and December.

This morning the children began working with the 100’s Board lesson. This lesson helps teach counting to 100, recognition of numerals, and order.

Tomorrow is Soccer Shots. Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for this class.

This morning we began playing a very popular game amongst the previous classes. This game is called Sight Word Baseball. It held true for popularity for these children too. Ask your child to tell you more about this fun game.

Monday is music class. Music begins at 2:30.

The holidays are approaching quickly. Families are preparing with gatherings and travel plans. Please inform us of your child’s schedule for the months of November and December.

Jumpbunch class was filled with excitement and the skill of balancing as the children walked a curved tight rope.

This morning during outside playtime Josh used his creativity to spell his name with the leaves laying on the ground.

This afternoon was Arts Alive. Ask your child to tell you more about their imaginative adventure to Mermaid Island.

Tomorrow is Dance class. This class begins at 9:30.
