This morning during Jumpbunch class the children practiced their eye/hand coordinations by throwing a soft ball threw a hoop. This fun game is called Comit Ball.

Tomorrow is Dance Class. Children may come dressed in their dance clothes. This class begins at 9:30.

Let’s Go Astros! Where your favorite Astros atire tomorrow.

Our morning lesson is called Graphing coordinates. This lesson helps us prepare for reading maps and for this age group spacial relations and math.

This morning’s lesson is called, Parts of a Jack-o-Lantern. All the Halloween lessons we have been working with has excited the Kindergarten children. Ask your child to tell you the difference between a Pumpkin and a Jack-O-Lantern.

Congratulations Peggy, Clementine and Archer. They are pleased to announce the arrival of their baby sister, Frances.

Tomorrow is Jumpbunch class. This class begins at 10:30. Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for this class.

This morning the children worked with patterning and enjoyed using Halloween objects to manipulate their patterning sentences. We are also working with naming the pattern such as AB,ABB, ABC, etc.

Soccer shots word of the day is team work. The children learned to work together as a team. They showed awesome team work during a friendly game of soccer. Ask your child what the word team work means. The children also enjoy practicing their shooting, step over, and control skills in a game of dragons and knights.

Today is Ms. Yessica’s last day with us. She will be taking time to prepare for her baby boy to arrive. We wish her a healthy delivery.

Although we will miss her very much we are happy to have Ms. Carmen join our Kindergarten team. Ms. Carmen joined CHES in Aug. and has helped in the Primary classes.

This morning on circle we talked about the parts of a skeleton. We learned the names Femur, tibia, skull, spine and more. Ask your child if they can remember some of the bone names.

Music class this afternoon, had us singing many fun Halloween songs that got us in the fall spirit. The children even had a fun time going on a vampire hunt. Ask your child what they saw on our hunt?

Tomorrow is Soccer Shots. We have two class. The first class starts at 10:30 and the second class at 11:15.

This morning Jump Buch class had the children test out their balancing skills. The children practiced stepping with one foot, jumping, and walking backwards on an obstacle course. The children also enjoyed playing a game called, “lava”. The children tried their best to stay on the obstacle course without falling into the lava. Ask your child if they made it safely across.

Tomorrow is dance class. This class starts at 9:30 am.

Don’t forget to wear your Astros gear to school tomorrow!
