What an awesome time we had during splash time! We had our splashers and our non-splashers enjoying their time outside.

Our splashers were trying to fix our water sprinkler but sadly it couldn’t be done. They still got to enjoy getting soaked in the water that was coming out of it. Our non-splashers were building incredible things with the Legos.

We would like to wish Joshua a very Happy Birthday! Thank you for celebrating it with us today!

Today we had a fun time during jump bunch. We used some mallets to hit a ball into a tunnel. Some of us created three different tunnels to put our balls through. Later in arts alive, we had a celebration. We used tambourines to make music, we danced and made some very interesting shapes.

We also want to wish Adelaide a very Happy Birthday! Thank you for bringing your special snack and celebrating it here with us!

Tomorrow is splash day! Don’t forget to bring some dry clothing, extra shoes and an extra bag for the wet clothes.

This morning during chapel the children enjoyed learning about effects of things we can not see such as the wind and God. Ask your child to tell you more about our fun chapel time. For every song we sing we are signing part of it. The children are doing so well with their sign language. Thomas is signing the word Father. Our new word today is beautiful. Open you hand, palms facing your face. Circle hand in front of face and close hand when circle is complete. Ask your child to sign the words beautiful and Father for you.

Did/Does your child have a summer birthday? If so, we will honor all summer birthdays in chapel on Wed. Aug. 1st. Parents of these children are invited to attend chapel at 9:30 a.m. Each child celebrating their birthday is asked to bring the amount of coins they are turning to place in a special birthday bank.

Tomorrow is Jumpbunch and Arts Alive.

This morning the children enjoyed reviewing the lesson, Snake Game. This lesson helps further develop addition. Being able to follow a sequence is very important for completing this lesson successfully. Ask your child to tell you more about the lesson that starts colorful then ends up golden.

Tomorrow is the last Soccer shots for the semester. Here is the list of times for your child’s class in case you want to come watch.
