This morning during Arts alive the children enjoyed using their imagination and becoming Cowgirls and Cowboys. We dressed the part too.

Music class was a lot of fun. The children enjoyed singing and dancing with Mr. Jason. Ask your child sing for you.

Tomorrow is Soccer Shots. This class begins at 11:15

Tomorrow is also our annual Mardi Gras Parade. The parade begins at 4:00. We hope to see you there.

The children are enjoying using their visual skills with lessons found in the Sensorial area. This morning’s lesson is called Mosaic Felt Triangles. The children choose a control card and compose that picture with the felt pieces.

Monday is Arts Alive and Music Class. Arts Alive begins at 9:00. Music begins at 2:30.

Tuesday, Feb. 28 is our annual Mardi Gras Parade. Parents are invited to watch the parade and catch some beads. Please let a teacher know if you are unable to attend.

This morning the children worked with two lessons found on the Sensorial shelf. The lessons, Rectangle box and Uncoded Rectangle box help further develop the visual skills, fine motor skills, recognition of geometric shapes such as a parallelogram, rhombus, rectangle, square, trapezoid, etc.

Tomorrow is dance class. This class begins at 9:30.

This morning the children enjoyed Arts Alive class with coach Wendy. They practiced their Olympic skills and paraded around for everyone to see their USA pride.

Tomorrow is Soccer shots. This class begins at 11:15.

The Kindergarten class will be sharing Valentine’s tomorrow with each other. We will begin letting the children pass them out starting around 9:15.

Our visitor came this morning and was very excited to see how well all the children were doing. The children showed respect for each other and for the materials they were working with. Once she left, the children wanted to know where she went. They really do like showing off their knowledge for others.

We will not have Yoga tomorrow. This class will start back next week.

Please feel free to write your child a Love Note. Place it in the file that says, LOVE NOTES. A teacher will collect them in the mornings around 11:30 so we can read them to the children. Please include your child’s name on their note.
