This morning during class time the children reviewed the geometric solids. Many of the children were able to identify the geometric solids.

During Jumpbunch the Children practicied their gross motor skills and coordination by dribbling and shooting hoops.

Arts Alive took us to a pumpkin patch. There we used our imagination to plant seeds and grow the largest pumpkin we could grow.

Tomorrow is dance class.

Tomorrow is our Fall Festival. Please bring your child’s costume to school with them. The teacher’s will help them change after nap. Children must be accompanied by a parent. If you will have another parent pick up your child, please inform us of who will be taking them to the Festival.

Yoga has been a big hit with many of the children. So many are putting forth their balancing efforts and doing extremely well with their Yoga moves.

Tomorrow is Jumpbunch and Arts Alive. Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for this class. Girls are encouraged to wear shorts or other coverings under their dresses for these classes.

Friday October 28 is our annual Fall Festival. The parade begins at 4:15 and the Festival begins at 4:30. Please pick your child up in the Kindergarten class after the parade to enjoy the fun festivities with you.

This morning the children practiced their visual and problem solving skills by working with the colored cube lesson. This lesson is just like Sudoku. Have you tried Sudoku before? It’s a great activity for further developing reasoning skills, problem solving skills and the visual skills. It might make a good stocking stuffer too.

The word of the day in soccer shots was patience. Ask your child what patience means.

Friday, October 28 is our annual Fall Festival. The parade begins at 4:15 and the Festival begins at 4:30. Please pick your child up in the Kindergarten class after the parade to enjoy the fun festivities with you.

This morning during music class Mr. Jason read the book, Go Away Big Green Monster to us. After the story the children enjoyed a fun and spooky monster hunt. Ask your child if they ran away after finding the monster.

Happy Birthday Sarah! Thank you for sharing yummy cookies with us.

Are your calendars marked for the Fall Festival? The children are looking forward to this fun event which will take place Friday, October 28. The parade will begin at 4:15. The festivities will begin immediately after the parade. You will be able to pick your child up in the Kindergarten class to take them to the Festival. Please remember that all children must be accompanied by an adult. If another parent will take your child to the festival please inform the Kindergarten teachers who will be picking them up.

This morning the children were shown the Geometric Solids. This lesson helps teach the names of geometric shapes and identification of things found in our environment that are those shapes. You can help your child by pointing out objects and asking them to tell you what geometric shape it resembles.

Book orders are in. Thank you for ordering books. You can find your child’s order in their backpack.

This morning during Jumpbunch class the children enjoyed using their gross motor and coordination skills jumping over hurdles. Ask your child if they were able to master this skill.

Tomorrow is dance class. Dance begins at 9:30.
