During music class this morning Mr. Jason dressed the part for a fun filled adventure to the swamps of Louisiana. Ask your child if we caught any alligators during our alligator hunt. The children also enjoyed getting a turn to play the guitar. If they wanted, they could use the slide on the guitar too.

Happy early Birthday, Cate! Thank you for sharing yummy brownies with us.

We will be wishing Charlie Kate a fun year at her new school on Wed. Aug. 17. We will miss you Charlie Kate.

What a fun, exciting and emotional day. Today we wish Caelan and Evan a wonderful transition into their new schools. We will miss you boys. Thank you Caelan for bringing donuts for all your friends. Thank you Evan for bringing a cookie cake for your friends and all the teachers at CHES. Monday will be Jackson’s last day at CHES. He brought Chick-fil-A today for all his classmates and all the teachers at CHES. You all were very generous and thoughtful.

Whose ready for a water balloon fight? The Kindergarten children are.

How do you like this neat looking sillouette? Place a dry person against a wall. Lightly spray them with water. Move away from the the wall admire your dry sillouette.

This morning we were so luck to have Officer Valle and Officer Mott join us for an exciting talk about their job and their uniform. They also stayed to help us with our Turn toward love panel. Ask your child to tell you more about our visitors.

During Jumpbunch class the children enjoyed using their gross motor skills to play basketball. They enjoyed throwing their balls through a hula hoop and a basketball net.

We paraded around the USA this afternoon spreading our LOVE and RESPECT for the USA. The children had a great time showing their PRIDE for the USA.

Tomorrow we will be having Chick-fil-A for lunch. We will also be wishing Jackson, Evan and Caelan a wonderful transition into their new school. We will miss them very much!

Splash day is also tomorrow. Please remember a dry change of clothes, a plastic bag for the wet clothes and safe shoes.

This morning we continued working with lessons that help support our theme for August. The children worked with the 3 part cards for Garden Tools. They had a lot to share about the garden tools at their houses too.

Tomorrow we will have a special visit from a couple of Officers. They will be here around 10:00 to talk to the children about their job.

Jumpbunch and Arts Alive is tomorrow. Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for this class.

Last week was our last soccer shots class. The children did miss attending this class today. Please be on the look- out for the fall registration.

No dance class this week. The fall semester will begin soon.

Yes, it is hot outside! The children don’t mind though. They are still just as active on the playground. For the safety of the children we have shortened playtime by a few minutes.

Friday, Aug. 12 the Kindergarten class will be having Chick-fil-A for lunch. This special lunch will be hosted by Jackson Varnado and family. Please let us know if your child may not have this due to allergy reasons.

Please help was wish Ms. Michelle a wonderful transition into the Nursery 1 classroom. We sure enjoyed her presence in the kindergarten class.

This Friday is Jackson’s, Evan’s and Caelan’s last day at CHES. We will enjoy every bit of time we have left with you. Will you be bringing a special item for your child’s last day at CHES? If so, please let a teacher know so we can help with this if needed.

Please help us send a special thank you to Ms. Jaelynn. She will be leaving for college soon. We enjoyed her help in the Kindergarten class this summer.
