Extra clothes

February 24, 2017 by Primary Two

Just a quick reminder, parents please be sure to pack an extra change of clothing to be kept in your child’s cubbie. We are limited in extra clothes for the class to share. So on that note if you have any of our clothes that we have lent out could you please return them.

Thank You,

Primary II

Wednesday

February 15, 2017 by Primary Two

In yoga, Mr. Nick showed us two new moves, the dolphin and the half bow. Our class did a great job at trying the moves.

Father Art shared the story “Love our Enemies” in chapel. We discussed the meaning of the word enemy. An enemy can be someone we don’t like or they don’t like us. Our job is to not be mean to our enemies even when it’s hard but we should learn to be kind to them and to think of them in our prayers.

PJ Day/Chinese New Year

January 27, 2017 by Primary Two

We read A Happy Chinese New Year while wearing our pajamas this morning and passed out lucky red envelopes (with two treats of starburst). We also watched a 4 minute video, Fortune Tails; The Story of Chinese New Year and learned why the color red is so popular, why fireworks are used and why they bang drums. All to scare a monster of an ancient story (to scare away bad spirits ) and to bring good fortune. We also made our own Chinese drums.
