Hello Everyone!

Today was the first day of Soccer Tots!! This morning the word of the day from the coaches was “Respect” ,and how the children should show respect towards each other. The children reviewed the coaches rules, practiced control of the ball, practiced small tic-tock kicks and more.

Welcome back! This is our first blog of the year 2018!! This week a couple of our awesome students will be transitioning into the Primary classroom, which means, we will be seeing some new faces this month. Mila Fenelon and her wonderful parents are new to the Cathedral House family, and we would like to give them a special T2 welcome. Silas, William, Cate and Warner will be visiting from Toddler 1 this week and are doing great!! We hope all our new friends will enjoy being a part of the Toddler 2 team.

This morning we were busy beavers as the children completed another group practice for the upcoming Christmas program. They are doing Great!! Did you know that everyone does not celebrate Christmas?? Tonight will be the first night of Hanukkah. We introduced the holiday to the children, with the book “Is It Hanukkah Yet!” We discussed what “Hanukkah” was about and made menorahs to remind us about one of the many facts we learned. Happy Hanukkah Everyone!!

Hello Everyone!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year as we bustle into the busy month of December. This morning we read “Snowmen at Christmas” and sang the very popular “Frosty the Snowman.” Later as the day progressed, we made snowmen of our own and spent some time practicing for the upcoming Christmas program.

This week the children reviewed what they learned last week about the Pilgrim and the Native Americans. They also enjoyed reading books about Thanksgiving and sharing what they are thankful for. So from our classroom family to yours…..
