Hi There!

How was your week??? This morning the children were a full of energy, so we decided do some relaxing yoga stretches from the book “ Babar’s Yoga For Elephants” to help channel some of those energies in a different direction. Not bad for our first try.

Roses are red,

Violets are blue,

We got to party…hope you did too!!

The children had a wonderful day filled with games, dancing and of course the valentine card exchange. Thank you to every parent that made our day special with sweet treats. Have a good evening!!

Hello everyone!

This morning the children were excited to be back and see their friends again. All the children have enjoyed receiving “Luv Notes” from their parents, grandparents and teachers. And there is definitely lots of love in the air. Today in Arts Alive the children participated in the “Winter Olympics.” Ms Wendy lead the way as the children marched in the parade of athletes which was followed by, the passing of the torch, ice-skating, speed skating, skating in pairs and more. Tomorrow will be our Valentine Party. Wear Red!!!

Hello Everyone!!

How was your week?? This week the children worked of safe place drills in the classroom and outdoors. During circle they had lessons with the Pink Tower, The Mystery Bag as well as wet and dry pouring activities. We also played a memory building game called “What do you remember.” A tray is passed around then covered and the children then have to try and remember as many of the items as possible. It was lots of fun. The week would not be complete without some fun pics of the children, while playing outdoors.

Hi There!!

Today marks the start of the Lunar New Year, the year of the “Rooster”. This morning the children learned a bit about Chinese culture, beliefs and traditions. They enjoyed listening to Chinese music, did our own variation of the “Lion Dance” and tasted tasty eggrolls. It was lots of fun. See you next week.
