Djembe Music

September 19, 2016 by toddlertwo

HAPPY MUSICAL MONDAY!!!!!!!!

Today was AWESOME with Mr. Jason in Music. He is our comedic Musician. We get our release on Mondays. After the trials of weekend life, Mr. Jason helps us to E A S E back into our wonderful school routines. Today we played the Djembe Drum. OOO la la, so much fun. This special drum has two sounds, LOUD and soft. We preferred the soft sound, BUT to appease Mr. Jason we played really loud so he would realize how much we appreciated learning about this new instrument. Mr. Jason also brought along a friend to help introduce the Djembe Drum. His name is Ollie the Elephant. I guess that’s why he sang the Alphabet like this; A B C D E F G H I J K elephantapee…..WHAT? Mr. Jason has the funniest friends. Thanks for sharing your Music and Comedy with us. Music teaches us about life in fun ways. We follow directions without realizing what we’re doing. “Hey wait a minute Mr. Jason you tricked us!
