This morning the children had their second Summer Chapel session with Ms KariAnn. Today she brought her special friend Winifred the elephant, who shared a special quote of the day “Laughter is like medicine” and that we should always laugh and have joy. Winifred the elephant definitely brought joy to the children.
This summer our theme will be “Way Down Deep In The Deep Deep Sea.” This week we have been reading books about the sea shore and learning new songs about the ocean. Our song of the month will be “Slippery Fish.”
Hello Everyone,
This week we continued our travels through Mexico. The children found out that Mexico has large deserts, rain forests and volcanoes. We looked at pictures of Mexican markets and learned the names of some fruits in Spanish. Today we explored some of the delicious flavors of Mexico and tasted chips, salsa, guacamole and pint size toddleritas (our version of margaritas.) Yum!!!

Today we celebrated all the wonderful moms of Cathedral House with our annual Mom’s and Muffins breakfast event. There were smiles all around as the children enjoyed spending some extra quality time with mom along with an extra round of donuts.

A fun time was had by all, as our dancers participated in our annual Dance Recital. They were all excited to demonstrate all the skills they learned throughout the semester. We know all the parents were very proud of their little ones.
