Throwback Thursday!

March 23, 2017 by Movement One

Happy Friday Eve!

In honor of Thursday here are some cute pictures of our friends on St. Patrick’s Day.

We celebrated the day by enjoying a jello sensory actitivity. Ms. Ruth made little “pots of gold” (green jello shots with a pineapple chunk center) for the children to enjoy. We also counted shamrocks and learned a special poem. The children were able to take home little bags of lucky charms. Everyone enjoyed the festivities.

Have a nice day!

Go Texan Day!

March 3, 2017 by Movement One

Hello!

Today we celebrated Go Texan Day! Everyone looked spiffy in their western gear. Our friends enjoyed a nice ride on a horse (see classroom cabinet doors) and taking turns singing and wearing a cowboy hat. We also observed a sheriff badge and talked about the shape of the star.

We hope y’all have a good weekend!

Just a Reminder

March 3, 2017 by Movement One

Happy Friday!

We hope everyone had a nice week and enjoys their Friday! Here are few helpful tips for a smooth Monday –

Please remember:

· to label your child’s belongings (sippy cups, bottles, extra clothes, bedding, etc) with their first and last name.

· that your child needs a bedsheet every week and that they are able to bring a blanket for naptime.

· to check the diaper chart and bring in diapers if needed.

Enjoy your weekend!

See you Monday.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

March 2, 2017 by Movement One

Hello!

Today we celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday! We enjoyed reading ‘One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish’ alongside playing with our fish puppets and our special snack – rainbow goldfish. Yummy! We also took pictures in the Cat in the Hat’s hat. Make sure to check them out on our classroom door. Here are some pictures of our friends enjoying the festivities.

We hope everyone enjoys their day!

And remember…

“Today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive who is you-er than you!” – Dr. Seuss
