Happy Friday!
This week we have introduced new sensory lessons during our morning circle time. We introduced a set of pink heart pillows that have soft bumps on the surface, different size red and pink pompoms (Big/Little), and wooden hearts with a rough surface. Everybody really enjoyed squeezing the pillows and passing the pompoms. As we took turns holding the different items we discussed the different textures that we were experiencing. Here are a few pictures from last week with a very special visitor – Flower! Flower is one of Toddler II’s classroom pets. She is a black and white guinea pig who loves eating apple slices. Some of our friends had already previously met Flower and were enthusiastic to see her again while some friends were unsure about being near her. Towards the end of Flower’s visit all of our friends warmed up to her and enjoyed seeing her roll around in her blue ball. Hope everyone enjoys their day!
Happy Hump day and Hello February!
As many of you have already noticed we have decorated our classroom door and have started collecting love notes. Please feel free to write your little lovebug as many love notes as you would like and deliver them to the mail box located on top of the cubbies. Love notes are read aloud to the children during circle. We will be collecting love notes until February 14th. Thank you in advance for everybody’s participation.

Happy New Year!
We hope everyone enjoyed their holiday break and is ready to start 2017! We have a few reminders for a start of a successful year. Please remember:
· To label all of your child’s belongings (clothing, cups, food containers, bedding, etc)
· That bed sheets are necessary and in MI your child is able to bring a blanket
· To check the diaper chart to see if your child is in need of diapers
· To check your child’s cubby to ensure that they have extra clothes
