Color Seal Ring Toss

November 8, 2017 by Movement One

Good Afternoon!

Today we are putting the spotlight on one of our classroom favorites – the Color Seal! Our children love working with the color seal and we love that they do! The color seal provides several learning opportunities. The rings are the perfect size for little hands to grasp and toss. This provides the opportunity to develop muscle control and hand – eye coordination. The different color rings allow us the opportunity to talk and introduce different colors and vocabulary.

Check out Katherine working with the Color Seal –

Happy Tuesday!

From stacking to climbing we have been very bzzzzsy here in Movement I. Here is a picture of Christopher working with our Object Permanence Box. This lesson helps children understand and test the concept that objects continue to exist even when we don’t see them (Object Permanence).

Welcome Back!

We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and had a blast celebrating the Astros winning the World Series!

We kicked off our week here in Movement I creating hand print turkeys. Our friends have become very fond of painting and enjoy the awesome sensory time it provides. Be on the look out for these cute little turkeys!

· to check the diaper chart and bring in diapers and or diaper cream if needed.
