Being able to count in a numerical order and to count quantity is an important skill for the children to learn. So, todays lesson is sure to help further develop this skill. Incorporating counting at home can be a simple and fun activity for you and your child to do together. Here are a few ideas, If you order pizza ask your child to count the number of slices it is cut in, Count how many black (or other color)cars they see on the commute home, Count the number of books they have in their book collection, Count a zip lock baggie full of beans or other item you can fill the bag with. Always remember, practicing rote counting without objects is important too.

Monday is music class. This class begins at 9:00.
