This morning the children enjoyed making tie die hearts. This is an easy project you can try at home. You will need a white coffee filter, bingo dotters or food coloring, an eye dropper and water. Cut the filter into a shape or leave it round, dot colors on the filter with the bingo dotters or drop the food coloring ion the filter with an eye dropper. After your filter is colorful drop water on the filter and watch the colors run together. Move the wet filter to a dry paper towel and let it absorb the water. Once the filter is dry place it somewhere to be admired.

Ask your child what this drum is called. (tongue drum) They enjoyed playing it.

Tomorrow is our annual Mardi Gras parade. The parade begins at 4:00. Please inform a teacher if you will not be able to attend this event.

Tomorrow morning will be our last day for Love Notes. Please stop and write your child a note. They enjoy receiving them from you. Wednesday, the children will pass out their Valentines to their classmates. We will begin passing them out at 9:00.

Soccer Shots is tomorrow. Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for this class.

Ms. Faith has joined the Kindergarten class, please help us welcome her.
