Sensory Exploration

August 18, 2016 by Movement One

Hello!

This month we have been discovering the elements needed for a seed to become a tree. Today we explored on the playground and discovered that not all tree bark feels or looks the same. Some of the tree bark was smooth and light brown while the other tree bark was darker in color with rough bumps. Some of our friends really enjoyed feeling the tree bark and some friends even felt the mulch. We did have a few friends who were unsure about feeling the tree bark but that’s okay they were still able to see the different colors.
