October 25, 2017 by Kindergarten

This morning the children enjoyed practicing their eye/hand coordination skills by hammering golf tees into a pumpkin. This activity will be available through Halloween unless it begins to rot before then.

We had a visitor in our class this morning. It was a moth. This moth flew around the room a bit. The children did great with their self-control while he was checking things out. The moth finally took a break and landed on Conor. Conor was helpful in catching it. This moth is now available for the children to observe up-close. The moth we caught looks similar to this picture.

Tomorrow is The Fall Festival. Please bring your child’s costume to school and we will help them change before the parade begins. Please let a teacher know if you are unable to attend the Festival.

The Kindergarten class will have a small celebration in class on Tuesday, Oct. 31. If you are planning on bringing special treats for your child to pass out, please remember we are a nut free school. We have 15 children in the Kindergarten class.
