The countdown to our Holiday Program is on! The program is this Thursday, December 14, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. Seating will begin at 5:00 p.m.
Our Holiday Snack party is this Friday, December 15. We have 15 children in our class.
Welcome Back!
We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. To kick off this week we painted with colored ice pops. We froze water and food coloring in popsicle molds and popped them out for our kids to paint. This activity is an awesome sensory activity because the children have the opportunity to touch the cold smooth ice, they can see how it transitions from a solid to liquid state, and can see the colors mix on their paper (providing the perfect opportunity to introduce new vocabulary). This activity also helps work fine motor skills since the children have the option of holding the popsicle stick. Check out our artwork in our pod hallway.
We would like to wish a very special 1st birthday to our friend Vivian. We hope you have a wonderful day. Thank you for bringing special snack to share with your friends.
The children were very excited with the snow fall this morning! There were lots of stories of snow at everyone’s house.
Reminder notices have been put on children’s cubbies that signed up for our Snack Holiday Party next Friday, December 15, 2017.
Reminder:
The children were very excited with the special visit from Santa this morning. They also enjoyed getting to wear their pajamas all day and seeing which friends matched theirs.
Coach Luca brought in pool noodles and balls to play with. The children had a great time swinging the noodles like bats and hockey sticks to hit the balls.
