We had a room full of busy bees this morning! The children worked in all areas of the room with perforation squares, numeration (1-5) and (1-10), bead stringing, phonetic sounds, tracing, and on their cutting skills.
The children had a fun time in Soccer Shots. They reviewed some the skills they have learned as well as practicing a new skill called scissors, where they circle the ball with their foot so the ball will not be easily taken away. Lots of goals were also made by very happy children. Next Tuesday will be the last class of the semester.

This morning the children enjoyed a simple folder game that allowed them to dress bears with appropriate clothes for certain weather. Ask your child to tell you more about this activity.
During Soccer Shots the children practiced their soccer skills of dribbling, pull back, popcorn and other moves. Do you get a chance to watch your child practice these moves at home? Many children are very good with them. The new winter schedule will begin January 9. Your child will have more info. In his/her backpack.
Please let us know A.S.A.P if your child will not participate in the Holiday Program. The program is Thursday, Dec. 14.
Book orders are going home today. Please ask your child for them. They are in their backpack.

Welcome back, we hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving Holiday. The children were excited to see friends and share the fun they had during the holiday.
On circle we worked with our sink and float lesson from our science area. We experimented with different objects to see which would sink and which would float. The children enjoyed the lesson and were eager to try it on their own!
