This morning we began playing a very popular game amongst the previous classes. This game is called Sight Word Baseball. It held true for popularity for these children too. Ask your child to tell you more about this fun game.
Monday is music class. Music begins at 2:30.
The holidays are approaching quickly. Families are preparing with gatherings and travel plans. Please inform us of your child’s schedule for the months of November and December.

This week’s highlight is our classroom loft. Our children love the loft – it is one of our classroom staples. The loft allows children to practice, explore, and better their gross motor skills. By going up/down steps, through tunnels, and down/up ramps children develop balance, coordination, and body awareness. The loft features a mirror and windows that allow the children to interact with one another. Our children love sitting on the steps and chatting. Check out two of our friends enjoying the loft. 
We used our visual sense of form as we worked with our geometric solids lesson in the sensorial area. We added a new part to our lesson as we matched picture cards of everyday objects that we classified as a cube, cone, cylinder, and a sphere.
The children worked on their balancing skills in Jumpbunch class as they walked on a tightrope Coach Luca brought for us. We are excited to see what adventure awaits us this afternoon in Arts Alive class. We are sure to have a fun time.

This morning during outside playtime Josh used his creativity to spell his name with the leaves laying on the ground.
This afternoon was Arts Alive. Ask your child to tell you more about their imaginative adventure to Mermaid Island.
