We said good-bey to the month of October and reviewed what we learned about the compass, maps, fire safety and Halloween.

The children were excited to share their Halloween adventures of trick-o-treating and passing out candy. The children who did both enjoyed both getting and giving treats equally.

On circle we worked on left and right directions. We worked with the left and right vehicle lesson. The children classified picture cards of different types of vehicles going in left or right direction.

During our playtime we went on a bear hunt and safely return from our adventure in time for lunch.

Happy Wednesday!

Please remember:

· to label your child’s belongings (sippy cups, bottles, extra clothes, bedding, etc) with their first and last name.

· that your child needs a bedsheet every week and that they are able to bring a blanket for naptime.

· to check the diaper chart and bring in diapers and or diaper cream if needed.

Thank You!

Did you know today is Halloween? Our class was full of excited children ready to celebrate!

Our fun started by making lollipop ghost and having delicious jack-o-lantern cookies for snack. The children enjoyed listening to Halloween music(The Monster Mash was a big hit!) as they worked and painted a special Halloween color sheet using Q-tips as brushes.

A big thank you to our friends Simone, who shared Halloween treat bags with us and Jesse who brought in a Halloween book for our story time.

We had a fire drill this morning and the children safely exited the building and walked to the Bishop’s Garden to our meeting spot.

We have had a fun and exciting day!

Happy Halloween!

October 31, 2017 by toddlertwo

Hello Everyone!

Happy Halloween was the cry as all the children entered the classroom this morning. They were so excited to finally get to say those words. During circle time, Avery O and Reid passed out special Halloween treats. We had tasty Halloween cupcakes for snack and had lots of fun learning to do “The Monster Mash” as we boogied to the beat. Have a safe and fun evening.
