Welcome back!!
This morning after coming in from enjoying the beautiful “fall” weather. The children shared a little about their weekend, volunteered for new jobs and had a lesson about the parts of the leaf. We will also continue to spot light the children with their mini interviews this week.

This morning the children enjoyed their Free choice Friday day. This is where the children get to independently choose their 1st Montessori lesson to work with unless they have incomplete work from the day before. By experiencing Free choice Friday’s, the children further develop their independence, self-guidance and learn to pay attention to their academic abilities.
Monday is Music class. This class begins at 2:30.

Do you know what to do if your clothes catch on fire? We reviewed the fire safety tips we have learned throughout the week and recalled that if our clothes are on fire we Stop Drop and Roll. The children have really enjoyed learning about fire safety and are eager to share what they have learned.
A big thanks to our friend Raleigh who brought in his firefighter turn out gear to share with the class. The children were eager to see it and some even tried it on! During our work time the children worked on a cut and paste firefighter puzzle.
Our dancers had a great time in dance class this morning!
