Did you know when to dial 911? We learned that we dial 911 when there is an emergency. We discussed what is and what is not an emergency.(i.e. being upset because you lost a sticker is not an emergency; seeing a house on fire is and emergency). We also learned that the sprinklers in our class will spray water in case of a fire and that there is a fire extinguisher is located in our hallway next to the door. The children are excited to discover the ways we are keeping safe at school.

The children learned a new move called the “step over” and learned that when we work together it is called team work in Soccer Shots today.

Hi There!

Have you been enjoying the cooler temperatures?? We have!! The children love it! During class we discussed some of the other changes we see in the “Fall” and had a lesson about “How to put on a jacket.”

We would also like to welcome Avery Porter and Oliver Lutz to Toddler two family. We hope they enjoy their time with us and we are so excited to have them.

This morning the children worked with patterning and enjoyed using Halloween objects to manipulate their patterning sentences. We are also working with naming the pattern such as AB,ABB, ABC, etc.

Soccer shots word of the day is team work. The children learned to work together as a team. They showed awesome team work during a friendly game of soccer. Ask your child what the word team work means. The children also enjoy practicing their shooting, step over, and control skills in a game of dragons and knights.

Today is Ms. Yessica’s last day with us. She will be taking time to prepare for her baby boy to arrive. We wish her a healthy delivery.

Although we will miss her very much we are happy to have Ms. Carmen join our Kindergarten team. Ms. Carmen joined CHES in Aug. and has helped in the Primary classes.

Guess Whooo?

October 17, 2017 by Toddler One

Good afternoon, parents and staff!

We are all getting into the spirit of Fall! The toddlers are enjoying decorating the door and the rest of the classroom.

Last week we played a little game. Our parents had to guess all of our Toddler I students’ eyes!

“I spy with my little eye… My child’s eyes!”

It was a lot of fun watching the parents trying to guess their kid’s eyes and their classmates too.

We would like to congratulate our two winners! Maggie (Delaney’s mom) and Molly (Auden’s mom)! They both guessed 7 out 17!

We Hope you enjoy your dulce!

Thank you so much to all our wonderful parents for participating!
