Welcome Back!
Do you know what shape our Earth is? We looked at our globe and geometric solids lesson and learned that our Earth is a sphere.
We read the book In 1492 by Jean Marzollo and learned about Christopher Columbus’ voyage to discover new land and that the Earth was round.
The children had fun working on a Columbus Day hat and hand monster art projects.
Hello Everyone! This month the children will be focusing on how to be a friend and we will feature mini interviews with the children as they share a little about themselves.

We kicked off this week by enjoying a nice bye bye buggy ride this morning. Our friends enjoy going for rides and saying hello to the “big kids”.

Here are a few reminders for a successful week.
Please remember:
· to label your child’s belongings (sippy cups, bottles, extra clothes, bedding, etc) with their first and last name.
· that your child needs a bedsheet every week and that they are able to bring a blanket for naptime.
· to check the diaper chart and bring in diapers and or diaper cream if needed.

This morning we practiced identifying our Body Parts by working with the lesson, Parts of a Body. This is a lengthy lesson that’s helps with idenfication and vocabulary.
The children practiced their dance moves in dance class this morning. Dance class helps teach coordination and controlled movements.
Monday is Music class. This class begins at 2:30.
