Do you know who gives you shots when you visit the doctor’s office? We read the book Let’s Meet a Doctor by Bridget Heos and learned that a nurse gives you shots as well as learning that a doctor uses a otoscope to look in our ears.

We worked with our flag nomenclature lesson to help us review the parts and names of a flag. The children enjoyed reviewing the parts of a flag and were eager to make a flag booklet.

Today was or first little people chapel, the children met Father Art and Ms. KariAnn and enjoyed singing songs with them.

During our playtime the children were excited to discover a butterfly on our playground!

This morning began our 1st day of chapel for the school year. We enjoyed seeing Father Art and Ms. Carrie Ann again and we liked having chapel in the Golden chapel. We sang a familiar and favorite song, Jesus Loves Me and we heard the story, Joseph Helps his Family. Ask your child to retell this story to you. Sept. and October birthdays will have their special birthday prayer on Wed. Oct. 4 at 10:30. Parents of a child being honored may join us for chapel. Please let Ms. Yessica or Ms. Sherri know if you will be attending your child’s birthday prayer.

Tomorrow is Jump Bunch and Arts Alive classes. Jump Bunch begins at 10:30 and Arts Alive is at 2:00.
