Hello Everyone! Welcome back!
We hope everyone’s life is returning to some sense of normalcy. For those that suffered loss in the storm our hearts go out to you and yours and we will gladly assist/help in any way.
This month the children will be learning about Community Helpers and how they can be helpers in their community and in their classroom. It’s a good time to show and teach our little ones about sharing and giving to others. Our class room has been quite chilly for the past couple of days, we would like to suggest that all parents consider bringing in an extra sweater or sweatshirt for their child to wear during class time. I’m sure the kiddos will appreciate it. Thank you!

Welcome back, we hope everyone had a good weekend.
We continued to learn about helpers in our communities. We learned that firefighters, police officers, paramedics, doctors, and the military are also known as first responders and they help to keep us safe during emergencies. Did you know a flag has a truck? We talked about the parts of the flag and learned that a flag has a truck, flag pole, field, canton, and a fly end. The children also colored a heart shape flag.
Reminder Soccer Shots is tomorrow our class begins at 9:00 a.m.

This morning the children had a review on the parts of a flag. The children did great with this lesson. Ask your child to name you some parts of the flag.
In honor of Patriotic Day we had a moment of silence to think about people we care for. We also showed our Patriotism by waving the United States Flag and making a patriotic beaded bracelet.
Our Fall Soccer Shots class begins tomorrow. Children who will be participating must be registered. This class begins at 10:30.
Please mark your calendars for Parent Orientation. Orientation will be Thursday, Sept. 21 at 4:30.

We worked on our cutting skills today, as we worked on a community helpers worksheet. The children cut and glued the top halves to the bottom halves of community helpers: firefighters, farmer, chef, mail carrier, and a police officer.
A big thank you to our new friend Owen who shared yummy donut holes for snack. Owen as well as our transitioning friends have had a great week in our class.
