July 13, 2017 by Toddler One

Good afternoon!

We dedicate every Thursday to Show-N-Tell, and today was nothing short of fun and adventure! We encourage the children to pass around and share their cool toys with their friends.

“We like bringing our show-n-tell outside!”

Thank you and have a great day!

We continued to work with our dinosaur flashcards. Did you know that an Archelon was the largest sea turtle that lived to one hundred years old and was as big as a car?

The children had a fun time working on a dinosaur egg hatching art project. The children chose a baby dinosaur to color and cut out an egg for it to hatch from.

The children had a great time in Jumpbunch. They crawled forwards ,backwards and raced through a tunnel! We cannot wait to continue the fun in Arts Alive this afternoon.

Did you know that a Diplodocus had two spines? We worked with our dinosaur flashcards this morning and learn new facts about dinosaurs. We were surprised to learn that a Pteranodon was not a dinosaur but a reptile!

The children were happy to see Mr. Nick at Yoga this morning and were ready to practice their breathing and stretching excercises.

Our dancers also enjoyed practicing their dance moves in dance class!

The children also learned that a person who studies dinosaur bones/ fossils are called Paleontologists. Many of the children were excited to share that they have seen dinosaur bones at the museum.
