This morning the children had fun playing musical chairs (dinosaur edition). Not only did children enjoyed dancing around the chairs, but they also had to name the dinosaur they found on the chair. Some them did really well. Stayed tuned for a mini video tomorrow.

Dino Coloring
Happy Humpday!
Lately our Movement I friends have been focusing on coloring. The children of course enjoy expressing their creativity but coloring provides so many more benefits such as: bilateral coordination, endurance, fine motor skills, pincer grasp, sensory processing, spatial awareness, and hand-eye coordination. They really enjoy creating scribbles and trading crayons.
We hope everyone enjoys their day!

Did you know that the United States was not always a free country?
On circle we talked about the Fourth of July being a celebration of our countries independence. We looked at our flag now and pictures of past flags. The children started working on coloring red, white, and blue heart shaped flags for us to decorate our classroom.
This morning the children enjoyed their time in yoga stretching, breathing, and practicing their poses.
