Musical Chairs

June 29, 2017 by toddlertwo

This morning the children had fun playing musical chairs (dinosaur edition). Not only did children enjoyed dancing around the chairs, but they also had to name the dinosaur they found on the chair. Some them did really well. Stayed tuned for a mini video tomorrow.

Arts Alive: Circus Edition

June 29, 2017 by Movement One

Hello!

Today we had lots of fun at the Arts Alive Circus. We got to jump through hoops, hang out under parachutes, swing, and play with snakes. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us!

Have a nice day!

(P.S tomorrow is splash day! Remember no swim diapers, extra clothes, and a towel!)

This morning for show-n-tell Alexandra brought in two large teeth. One belonging to a shark and the other to a Mosasaur.

Tomorrow we have Jump Bunch class. Tennie shoes are safest for this class.

Will your child be out any day during the week of 4th of July? Please share their schedule with us.

Dino Coloring

June 28, 2017 by Movement One

Happy Humpday!

Lately our Movement I friends have been focusing on coloring. The children of course enjoy expressing their creativity but coloring provides so many more benefits such as: bilateral coordination, endurance, fine motor skills, pincer grasp, sensory processing, spatial awareness, and hand-eye coordination. They really enjoy creating scribbles and trading crayons.

We hope everyone enjoys their day!

June 28, 2017 by Primary One

Did you know that the United States was not always a free country?

On circle we talked about the Fourth of July being a celebration of our countries independence. We looked at our flag now and pictures of past flags. The children started working on coloring red, white, and blue heart shaped flags for us to decorate our classroom.

This morning the children enjoyed their time in yoga stretching, breathing, and practicing their poses.
