We continued to learn about dinosaurs and learned that a paleontologist is a scientist that studies fossils.

The children had a fun time in Jumpbunch class. Coach Leon brought in different colored paddles and balls for the children to practice swinging and hitting balls.

Arts Alive was cancelled. We will post a make-up date soon.

Do you know which dinosaur was the first recorded as a dinosaur?

We continued to work with our dinosaur flashcards and learned some things about the brachiosaurs, diplodocus, and an iguanodon. We learned that the first dinosaur recorded was the iguanodon as well as learning that all three dinosaurs were plant eaters.

The children worked on their yoga this morning and enjoyed their poses and breathing exercises.

Be on the lookout for more dinosaur artwork! The children had fun making brontosaurs and pterodactyls.

Do you know the name of this Yoga pose Clementine is demonstrating for us? It’s called the rabbit pose. We did other poses and balancing skills during Yoga. Some were simple and some were a bit challenging. The children enjoy the challenging poses the best. It makes them giggle when they attempt them.

Tomorrow is Jumpbunch class (10:30) and Arts Alive (2:00) Tennis shoes are the safest shoe for these classes.

Will your child be out during the 4th of July week? If so, please let us know their schedule.
