On circle we worked with our dinosaur flashcards and learned about Dimetrodon, Allosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor, Pteranodon, and an Ankylosaurus. Did you know that a Dimetrodon is not actually a dinosaur? We learned that it was a pelycosaur( a mammal/reptile-like) and lived before the dinosaurs.
The children had a fun time in soccer shots. They practiced their drills and kicking goals.

This morning the children had a lesson from our sensorial shelf. Visual Patterning is the name of it. This lesson helps reinforce visual skills and problem-solving skills.
During soccer shots, the children warmed up their bodies by marching, jogging, and running in a line. The word of the day is confidence. Ask your child what confidence means? The children practiced their pullback moves in a friendly game called Mr. Fox.
Tomorrow we have Yoga (9:00) and Dance class (9:30).
Will your child be out during the 4th of July week?
If so, please let us know which days they will be out.
