Good afternoon parents! We hope that you all had a fun filled weekend and all you dads had the BEST father’s day.
Today was a good day for each of our babies. Hayes, Asher, JJ, and Patrick have tired themselves out today with lots of tummy time.
Adam is in the play area trying to grab the green block and he does a really good reaching and getting it. ?
Katherine is being such a good friend engaging with Adam. They seem to be enjoying one anothers company.
Welcome Back! We hope all the Father’s had a wonderful Father’s Day.
This morning the children enjoyed talking about dinosaurs and practicing our pronunciation of their names. I must say the children are better at that than the teachers are. Alexandra is working with the Dinosaur 3 part cards. This lesson helps develop visual skills by matching cards, builds vocabulary by learning the names of the different dinosaurs, and it encourages handwriting practice by writing the names of the dinosaurs on paper.
Tomorrow is Soccer Shots. This class begins at 11: 15. Tennis shoes are recommended for this class.
Please help us welcome Josh Doughty, Felix Straub, Adelaide Holy and Ms. Lacy to the Kindergarten class. We are happy to have them join our Kindergarten Family.
Cathedral House will be open Monday, July 3rd and Closed Tuesday, July 4. Please let us know if your child will be out any this week.
During music class this afternoon the children enjoyed learning about beats and using the rhythm sticks to help them learn more. Ask your child to sing the fun songs they sang with Mr. Jason.
It’s all about the “Dinosaurs!!”
Welcome back, we hope everyone had a great weekend. The children were eager to share all the fun things they did with dad over the week such as playing with Legos, making cards, drawing pictures, buying sprinklers and seeing the Cars movie.
The children were eager to work on numeration (1-5) and (1-10) with our new dinosaur counting lesson in the math area as well as learning facts about dinosaurs with our new dinosaur flash cards Ms. Sandra brought for us.
We are looking forward to all the fun songs we will sing in music class this afternoon.
