Dino Meltdown

June 16, 2017 by Movement One

Happy Friday!

With the week wrapping up we kick the weekend off with splash day! This splash day was extra fun because we combined our splash day with an ice sensory activity. Ice sensory activities open the doors for opportunities such as imaginative play, exploration, and fine motor skills. The children really enjoyed feeling the cold hard ice and were intrigued by the dinosaurs that were frozen in the blocks of ice. After a little play time, we set our dinos free. Yay!

We hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

This morning the children enjoy stretching and exercising their bodies in Jumpbunch class.

The children worked on catching and dribbling a ball before they played a game of mini basketball.

Tomorrow is Dad’s and Donuts. Please join us in the Kindergarten room for a sweet treat. Please remember to park in the Christ Church Cathedral Parking garage. Bring in your ticket for validation.

Splash day is tomorrow. Children may come dressed in their swimsuits and a cover up over it. Safe water shoes are recommended. Please no, sandals or flip flops.

We read one of the children’s favorite stories: Gorgonzola about a stinky dinosaur who did not know how to brush its teeth and use soap and wat to clean its self.

The children practiced their dribbling and shooting skills as they played basketball in jumpbunch class.

REMINDER: Dads and Donuts is tomorrow from 7-9

Splash Day is tomorrow
