This morning during Jumpbunch class the children enjoyed practicing their golf skills. Ask your child how well they did.

Do you know what this symbol is?
We read the book Why Should I Recycle? And learned it is the recycle symbol. We also learned that when we recycle we reuse things. The children worked on a Go Green worksheet coloring things that help the Earth.

This morning the rain stopped us from going outside, but it did not stop us from enjoying our day. One of the children’s favorite games is called Sight Word Baseball. The class is divided up into two teams. The 1st batter comes to the plate. A sight word will be shown to them, if they read it correctly they move to 1st base. The next batter comes to the plate and they get a chance to read a different sight word. This game continues till there are three strikes. Then the next team gets a chance to bat at the sight words.
Don’t forget to sign your child up for VBS. The information was attached to your child’s pinwheel yesterday. You can also go to christchurchcathedral.org for more information.
Tomorrow is Yoga. This class begins at 9:00. Chapel is also tomorrow. Chapel begins at 10:30.
We are still in need of a few summer questionnaires. This information helps us prepare for transitions.
