This morning the children came in ready to work from the weekend. During Montessori work time the children worked on Addition, Spelling, Reading, and Place Value. Ask your child what lesson they worked on today?

Intro to Musical Intelligence
Happy Monday!!
This month the children will be exploring Musical/Rhythmic intelligence. To kick off our theme, we asked the children to share what they knew about music???
Zach- Mr. Jason plays music.
Simone- Music makes us dance.
Raleigh- Instruments make music.
As the discussion continued the children found out that their bodies made music too, as we clapped, tapped, stomped and made sounds with our mouths…which
is also an instrument.

Welcome back, we hope everyone had a great weekend. This morning we said good bye to the month of March and hello to our new month April. We talked about some of the fun activities that we have planned for the month and looked at some of the new books in our library.
The children had a fun time acting out the book Five Little Monkeys Jumping On The Bed. Thanks to our friend Cate for sharing the book with us.
