How many different types of Garden Tools do you own? Our Garden Tool lesson this morning introduced us to several types such as, a spade, cultivator , rotary cultivator and a loop hoe. Many children shared with us that they planted sunflower seeds they got from the rodeo. We will be looking forward to see pictures of beautiful sunflowers soon.

Tomorrow is dance class. This class begins at 9:30.

Please mark your calendars for Kindergarten Graduation. This special event will take place May 19, 2017.

We continued to learn about animals as we read the book Orangutans Are Ticklish. Do you know how you can tell where an elephant is from? We learned that you can tell where an elephant is from by the size of its ears. Elephants that have large floppy ears are from Africa and ones that have small ears are from India. We also looked at a picture of a zebra and tried to figure out if a zebra is white with black stripes or black with white stripes. What do you think?

The children had a great time playing with a birdie and racquet during Jumpbunch. The children also had fun stretching and playing with dynabands.

Majority of our friends were excited to paint and couldn’t wait to dip their fingers in while some of friends were unsure about touching the paint but eventually warmed up to the idea of finger-painting. Here are a few friends enjoying the activity –

March 30, 2017 by Primary Two

What a busy day we had!!  It was all fun of course! We started our morning wishing Officer Charles a great retirement, we enjoyed our body stretches with Mr. Nick, we had an amazing time with our Zoo day with Ms. Elizabeth who shared her story The Tall, Tall Grass as well as her millipede, snake, rooster and her very, very large rabbit. We then ended our morning in Chapel with Father’s Art story of Lazarus.
