March 29, 2017 by Primary One

Our morning started off with stretching and breathing in yoga class. The children were eager to get to our next activity, a visit from the zoo.

Zoo keeper Elizabeth read us a story In the Tall, Tall, Grass and brought four animals for us to look at and pet if, we wanted. We saw a millipede, a King snake named Half pint, a Cochin Rooster named Batman, and a Giant Flemish Rabbit named Fiona.

Our morning fun concluded with singing in Chapel with Father Art and Ms. Keri Ann. What a fun and busy day!

Zoo Day!!

March 29, 2017 by toddlertwo

Hello Everyone!

This morning Elizabeth, one of the animal handlers from the Houston Zoo visited our school. You could hear a pin drop, as the children waited with anticipation for the first animal to appear. The children saw millipedes, a king snake named “Pint Size”, a large rooster called “Batman” and a giant Flemish rabbit named “Fiona”. Most of the children were very brave and touched all of the animals. Let’s give a two thumbs up to the Houston Zoo!!! Thank you for coming, it was awesome!!
