Welcome back, we hope everyone had a great weekend!
On circle we saw pictures of the Irish country side, a map of Ireland, and a picture of Ireland from outer space. Did you know that an island is land surrounded by water? We discovered that Ireland is an island.
The children had a great time in Arts Alive! Our theme today was Wheels! The children drove cars, rode bicycles, mixed cement as a cement mixer, and plowed snow.

On circle we reviewed the rhyming and practical life lessons we presented this week. The children also worked on a rhyming worksheet, they are having a great time rhyming and are even trying to create their own words to rhyme.
The children are doing well with the new Spanish vocabulary words.

This morning the children learned animals and what a male, female and baby are called in the horse, cattle, pig, sheep and chicken family. The children will be able to put their skills to work if they visit the petting area at the rodeo
