Today is Lucy’s last day at CHES. Lucy loved to read and play dress up with her friends. Lucy was such a pleasure to have in class and we will miss her very much. Until next time!

The children are really enjoying working with rhyming. They are enjoying the lessons on our language area and listening for words that rhyme as we are reading books during circle time.
Our class had a great time during Jumpbunch class. Coach Leon brought in an obstacle course for the children to do. They jumped, balanced, hopped and even go to use a trampoline!

Today we read the story of Abram’s Call. It’s the story of Abram’s walk in faith. We also celebrated our March birthdays with Father Art praying over our friends and Ms. KeriAnn sharing some important facts about our friends likes.

This morning the children continued working with lessons found in the math area and adding numerals that equal up to 18. This lesson helps children learn the process of adding larger addition problems quicker. Please have your child practice adding like this. 14+ 4=, should be solved by saying 14, 15, 16, 17, 18.
Tomorrow is Yoga and Chapel. Yoga begins at 9:00. Girls are encouraged to wear shorts under their dresses. Boy are encouraged to wear shorts or pants that will give when they stretch into a Yoga pose. Chapel begins at 10:30.
Book orders are due tomorrow.
Children who attend Soccer Shots received an end of the semester progress report and a pair of Soccer Shots socks. These items can be found in your child’s backpack.
Will your child be out for Spring Break? If so, please inform the teachers and the front desk of the dates they will be out.
