January 23, 2017 by Primary One

Welcome back, we hope everyone had a great weekend!

Today we worked with the continent map. Do you know how many continents there are? We learned that there are seven continents and the continent we live on is called North America. We also learned that the largest continent is Asia.

Arts Alive has moved to the second and fourth Mondays of the month and music class has moved to Monday afternoons. We had a great time hugging, dancing, and tickling teddy bears, dancing with friends, and popping like popcorn with Ms. Wendy during today’s Arts Alive Pajama Party. We are looking forward to the cool songs and special visitors this afternoon in music class with Mr. Jason.

This morning we read the book: Bogart and Vinnie about a rhino and a dog who become best friends even though they are different.

We used our visual sense of form as we worked with the constructive triangle box in the sensorial area. The children used different colored and size triangles to construct equilateral triangles.
