Welcome back, we hope everyone had a great and warm weekend.

A big topic of discussion was the cold weather this weekend. The children talked about staying indoors, playing games, watching t.v. , and staying warm. On circle we worked in the science area with the animal home lesson. We matched picture cards of a bear, frog, bee, horse, bird, and a prairie dog and matched them with pictures of their homes.

HELLO FRIENDS!!!!

Today we welcomed five (5) new friends transitioning into the Toddler TWO family.

As you can see from the pictures posted above; the transitioning students were very

attentive. They were very curious about the work presented. They even participated

in it’s presentation. This particular Lesson is called “CLAMPING”. This lesson is a

wonderful fine motor skill development tool. AWESOME Start !!!

In Toddler Two we have MUSICAL MONDAYS! So today was the introduction to the

Music Classes. For transitioning parents if you want your child to participate in the

Music Classes you will need to visit the front desk to register. Music classes are

Mondays at 4p.m. for a 30 minute session. It is an awesome thirty minutes.

Mr. Jason has all kinds of funny props and stories to share.

He also shares his musical instruments with us.

We look forward to a prosperous future with you!!!

WELCOME to TODDLER 2!!!!

The children did a wonderful job this morning reviewing the Parts of a Clock. The parts we are working with are the clock, face, hour hand and minute hand. We also worked with telling time by the hour this morning. They caught on to that rather quickly. When practicing telling time at home with your child a clock with hands and numbers is recommended.

Monday is music class. This class begins at 9:00.

Have a safe, warm and cozy week-end!

We continued to talk about the weather and read the book I Am Snow. We learned that snowflakes have six sides and that no snowflakes look alike. With the colder weather some of the children thought we might get to see some snowflakes!

The children have been working on a fun dot art ice skates. Take a look at their cool work on our bulletin board.
