This morning we had a special visitor share her talent with us. Her name is Mrs. Marsh. She is a wonderful artist who has the skills to cut out pictures of objects she sees. There is no prep. Of drawing it first. She goes right into cutting. Just take a look at these dinosaurs she cut out. We all found her to be pretty impressive.

Happy late Birthday to Sarah. We are happy to have celebrated this special event with you and your Mother during chapel this morning.

Tomorrow is Jumpbunch class. Tennis shoes are the safest shoes for this class.

Book orders are due tomorrow.

Emotions!!!

November 2, 2016 by toddlertwo

Hello!

Today we started to explore the intense, sometimes funny, but ever changing world of emotions. During circle we read the book “Llama Llama Mad At Mama.” Which showed little Llama going through a whirlwind of different emotions as he navigates the course of his day. We then discussed with the children what made them happy, sad or angry. We also observed pictures of different faces and asked the children to identify the different emotions. Here is a snap shot of some the emotions we saw today.

Meeting Flower

November 2, 2016 by Movement One

Happy Wednesday!
Today our MI friends had a special visit from a furry friend named Flower. Flower is Toddler I’s classroom pet. She is a two year old Guinea Pig. For the most part all of our friends were intrigued with Flower. Some friends were curious enough that they reached out towards Flower while some friends were content with just observing from afar. We hope everybody is having a nice Wednesday!

The children were very excited to share stories about their Halloween night adventures. The children shared stories about trick-or-treating, passing out candy, looking at costumes, and even going to a Haunted House! They are all eager for next year!

On circle we said “good-bye” to the month of October and “hello” to our new month November. We talked about some of the activities for the new month and also looked at some of the new books in our library.
